Who publishes Aloofs editorial
Aloofs operates this service and is responsible for its editorial library. Common Room Notes, After Score, Buildside, Street & Story, and Open Margin are Aloofs-owned theme accounts. Their names organize areas of coverage; they do not represent independent people or personal author biographies.

Sourcing and accuracy
We use identifiable sources for factual reporting and prefer direct primary or authoritative sources when available. Every Aloofs editorial article ends with a Sources section containing descriptive links. We distinguish supported facts and attributed statements from analysis or opinion, and we do not present speculation as established fact. We do not invent quotations, statistics, events, identities, photographs, or firsthand experience.
Original work
Aloofs editorial articles are created for Aloofs. We may explain or analyze facts and ideas reported elsewhere, but we do not copy or lightly rewrite another publication. Quotations and material factual claims should be attributed to the sources that support them.
Corrections and updates
If you find a material error, use the “Report a concern or request a correction” link below the article, use the Contact page, or email info@aloofs.com. No Aloofs account is required. Please include the permanent article URL, the disputed statement, your proposed correction, and an authoritative supporting source. Aloofs reviews supported concerns and corrects material errors while retaining the article's permanent URL.
Images and illustrations
We use editorial media only after confirming that Aloofs has the right to publish it. Images include descriptive alternative text and, when useful, a caption explaining what the reader is seeing. An original Aloofs editorial image carries a separate dated credit in this form: “Original editorial image created for Aloofs, Month D, YYYY.” The caption describes the image; the credit identifies its origin. An illustration is not presented as documentary proof of a real event.
